We hope everyone is enjoying summertime! Mark and I have been enjoying the warm days in the studio and relaxing evenings on our porch. We’ve got lots of news to catch you up, including several exciting collaborations.

We had a very successful Wind and Food Pairing event last month—co-hosted with Chef Martha Hubbard, culinary director of Unity Table at Williams Hall, and Daniel McCurdy, sommelier at The Roost—that benefited Williams Hall and their mission of "Inspiring Faith, Empowering Teens to Unleash their Potential and Enriching the Lives of Older Adults.” There were 12 participants who enjoyed the themed event held around Mark’s work bench in the pottery studio. We are grateful to everyone who participated in the event, which resulted in our being able to donate over $300 to Williams Hall.

Mark has been busy with multiple custom orders from both individuals and organizations. He is collaborating with an upscale vacation home rental organization in Marathon to design a custom mug for their rental homes. He has also made lots of custom dinnerware for our collaboration with Green Pineapple in Key West.

We are in the process of starting another exciting collaboration with Salt Island Provisions. I have contributed eight different sets of stationary notecards with Key West-inspired photos, and Mark is working on some specially designed pottery to be unveiled soon!

As you may have noticed from the photos above (with thanks to Tracy Savage Jewelry and Julia Schifino), I have expanded into portrait and lifestyle-product photography, both within the studio and outdoors. Let me know if you’d like to make an appointment for portraits or lifestyle sessions!

Looking ahead, we will be closed Aug 16-26, but when we return we will be getting ready for the season. We look forward to more special events at the studio, as well as collaborating with our White Street neighbors for a revamped Walk on White on third Thursdays of each month.
