Mark has been creating many new items with fun mid-century modern glaze designs. We've given these new designs the name Mod, which joins our Fleming, Duval, Mallory, and Key West lines. Mark's mod pottery is distinguished by colorful designs and patterns that are reminiscent of the 1960's. The pieces are made of durable stoneware, and they are safe in the microwave and dishwasher.

Mark started working on mod pieces because he loves patterns and he wanted to offer something in addition to his more organic, rustic ceramics. While the technique for applying the patterns is very time-intensive, the pandemic has offered him the opportunity to slow down and take time to explore this creative avenue.
